The following documents represent scholarly work that I have completed in support of the GU VET Ally Program, the seminar, and the larger goal of improving veterans' learning experience in higher education.
These video interviews capture the "best practices" and experience of various educators who have had the opportunity to teach student-veterans.
The books, articles, and essays listed here offer some additional reading on the topic of veterans or service-members in post secondary education. These sources have proven useful in my scholarly pursuits and provide some context for my work.
This grant proposal was submitted to the Aurora Foundation in support of the GU VAP Seminar. The Aurora Foundation awarded the grant in January 2013 and will prove indispensable to the sustainability of the GU VET Ally Program
This handbook will be distributed as an additional resource to the GUVAP seminar to provide a quick reference to the substance of the seminar and further support for veterans on GU's campus.
