​The Aurora Foundation assists colleges and universities to help veterans who enter the scholastic environment graduate from college and enter the workforce. They describe this as a transition from “Boots to Books to Business.” Their programs and partnerships are all structured under each phase of this transition, working with others who support our military men and women in uniform as well as those in higher education who are dedicated to providing a veteran-friendly campus with resources that enable veteran students to succeed.​

Their mission and vision fit nicely with the goals of the GU VET Ally Program, and a generous grant the Aurora Foundation contributed greatly to the initial success of the GUVAP.
